THE EDGEBOX™ SOHO

Caters for offices with up to 10 DATA users.
This appliance has been specially designed for SOHO offices that may not have server racks and air-conditioned rooms. The appliance is a small “phone book” sized form factor that fits onto any desk and is whisper quiet.

Targeted for the SOHO market, edgeBOX™ Office SOHO comes with a 10 Data users license and cannot be extended. Despite of the 10 Data user license (needed for features like Domain Controller, Authentication or File & Print sharing), edgeBOX™ SOHO allows the creation of 40 phone extensions (independently of the type – SIP, Analog) and provides 10 simultaneous phone-calls with all remaining edgeBOX™ features enabled and running. For Voice-only scenarios (with firewall, email, web server and file sharing functionalities disabled), edgeBOX™ Office SOHO allows the creation of 50 internal phones extensions and 20 simultaneous phone calls.

Despite being the “entry-level” offer, edgeBOX™, SOHO may be small on form but the feature set is identical to that found in the larger units, meaning you still benefit from the same set of fully integrated and remotely manageable services that edgeBOX™ has to offer. The price is tailored for the SOHO segment.

THE EDGEBOX™ OFFICE

Caters for offices with up to 40 DATA users.
This is targeted at companies with between 10 and 40 data-users. edgeBOX™ Office is the second segment offer of the product range. Like the SOHO model, the appliance has been specially designed to accommodate small offices that may not have server racks and air-conditioned rooms.

The unit comes with a 30 data users license that can be expanded to 40 and allows 40 phone extensions creation and 20 simultaneous phone calls with all edgeBOX™ features enabled and running. For Voice-only scenarios (with with firewall, email, web server and file sharing functionalities disabled), edgeBOX™ Office SOHO allows the creation of 100 internal phones extensions and 40 simultaneous phone calls.

edgeBOX™ Office has to offer all the complete feature set, at a price that is right for new and growing businesses.

THE EDGEBOX™ BUSINESS

The edgeBOX BUSINESS GATEWAY is aimed at the medium sized business with up to 100 users.
It comes with the added security of redundant disks and RAID controller to ensure high availability and more powerful processing power than the Office Gateway with additional storage space. The unit is a 2U form factor ideal for mounting on a rack. The full range of edgeBOX™ services are available along with configurations that can provide connectivity to analogue and digital phone lines and phone equipment.

The BUSINESS UNIT comes with a 100 Data user license. Despite of the 100 Data user license (needed for features like Domain Controller, Authentication or File & Print sharing),the BUSINESS UNIT allows the creation of 100 phone extensions (independently of the type – SIP, Analog) and provides 45 simultaneous phone-calls with all remaining edgeBOX™ features enabled and running. For Voice-only scenarios (with firewall, email, web server and file sharing functionalities disabled), the BUSINESS UNIT allows the creation of 200 internal phones extensions and 100 simultaneous phone calls.

THE EDGEBOX™ ENTERPRISE

The edgeBOX ENTERPRISE is designed for corporations starting at 100 users up to 300 users.
Along with the full range of edgeBOX™ services it comes with hot-swappable redundant disks and dual power supply for increased robustness and resilience. The 2U form factor is ideal for mounting on a 19” rack.

The Enterprise Unit comes with a 300 Data users license and cannot be extended. Despite the 300 Data user license (needed for features like Domain Controller, Authentication or File & Print sharing),the ENTERPRISE UNIT allows the creation of 300 phone extensions (independently of the type – SIP, Analog) and provides 100 simultaneous phone-calls with all remaining edgeBOX™ features enabled and running. For Voice-only scenarios (with firewall, email, web server and file sharing functionalities disabled), the ENTERPRISE UNIT allows the creation of 500 internal phones extensions and 300 simultaneous phone calls.
